In this project, I participated in a competition to design and build a website for Tzu Chi to manage their blood donation data. The problem I was trying to solve was the difficulty Tzu Chi was experiencing in effectively managing and accessing their blood donation data.
In my role as a UI/UX designer, I began by studying the system requirements and understanding the organization's needs. Following this, I designed a website application that would not only meet these requirements but also provide an intuitive and user-friendly interface for the staff to interact with the data.
I followed a user-centered design approach in this project, prioritizing the needs of the end-users in every design decision I made. I started by creating low-fidelity wireframes, which I used to gather feedback from the organization and potential end-users.
After several iterations and improvements, I created a high-fidelity prototype in Figma. The result was a well-structured and efficient website design that not only met Tzu Chi's needs but also provided a seamless user experience for the staff.
